Bare Esthetics strives to provide corrective skin care and waxing in a relaxed and embracing environment for the modern, and often busy, woman (and man, too). Begun with an alternative spa experience in mind, we invite you to come as you are and let us change the way you think about skin care services.
We specialize in comfortable and through waxing of all kinds, using both hard and soft waxes (brazilian extraordinaire!), and skin correction and enhancement.
Skin treatments are designed to tackle sensitive skin, aging skin, acne, sun/hormonal damage and spots, rosacea, chronically dry, scarred and many other skin conditions. These are clinical treatments and done in a professional highly trained manner.
Nova, the owner and practitioner, has been a licensed esthetician for almost 7 years. 
After completing college and realizing her true passion, she has trained and worked in Portland, but has also practiced in Aspen Colorado and San Diego California. She also holds a special certificate to perform clinical grade chemical peels and has been in business owning Bare Esthetics for over 3 years now.
Recognizing that the skin is the body's largest organ, Carissa shares her knowledge and passion with her clients on how to properly care for the skin, while working hard to prevent skin damage. Carissa is proud to offer services such as deep cleansing facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and purifying back treatments. She also offers a variety of services including full body waxing and tinting.
The skin care line Carissa prefers to use is Alchemilla. These products are derived from plants grown locally on a wind-powered farm in Oregon City. These products are wonderful compliments to the skin whether you are looking for products gentle enough for daily use or if are looking to clear up a breakout. On a personal note, Carissa spends her time and energy with her husband and baby boy admiring the Pacific Northwest. Carissa's hobbies include camping, knitting, and gardening. She has also recently coined herself a "dessert connoisseur."
